My Open Paw charm in 14K gold recently appeared in Close-Up’s Bijoux magazine!
It’s a dog’s life
and we’d all love to live it!
In her enchanting, elegantly photographed volume, Ilene Hochberg captures the alluring lifestyles of well-off pooches. These dogs sit in the lap of luxury, enjoying everything from filet mignon and organic biscuits to Louis Vuitton carriers and Coach leather coats. Some even have their own treadmill to stay slim and trim! Countless adorable pictures showcase poodles in lamé, lace, and pearls; Dobermans shod in paw-saving sneakers; and diamond-studded jewelry for Fido’s evening out. For owners who want to lavish some love on their dogs while spending less, there are also budget-friendly, bare-bones ideas.
See my jewelry on the human models, and the dog t’s on the puppies. Also, the outfits for the human models feature my open paw print trademarked design in Swarovski crystals. Right now my large open paw print necklace is up for bid on www.charitybuzz.com. Please help North Shore Animal Hospital and bid often!
First, in the July edition of Cat Fancy Magazine, my company is featured as one of the top companies to give back to pets! I am first on the list, and next is Arm & Hammer! Please pick up the issue when it goes on sale, and read the great article! I am so honored and thrilled to be chosen for this piece! They mention my donation to World Vets, a non profit similar to Doctors Without Borders, through an auction to help the animals of Japan in www.charitybuzz.com. They auctioned my large open paw print necklace in yellow gold and sapphires.
Second, now on charitybuzz.com you can bid on my large open paw print necklace to benefit North Shore Animal League. It is 14k white gold and pink sapphires, and just gorgeous! Please bid frequently to help our dear animals and support a worthy organization, North Shore Animal League.
Have you adopted a dog or a cat from them? Send me some photos! I would love to see them!
Ok, I will do a better job at this blogging thing. Promise. It is just so new to me, and I am used to pithy comments on Facebook or Twitter (although I don’t understand why people want to know what goes on all the time in my life. I wish it were more exciting!!!!
So, today is the first day alone without Emily, who is back at American University, in Washington, DC, and is currently in her first summer school class, Studio Art! All I know is that I wish I were a fly on the wall to see this! I look forward to seeing her creations.
We hit all the art stores here in Northern DE, and were still unable to get everything on the class list of supplies! I never knew there were so many kinds of brushes! LOL. Maybe that is how people feel about jewelry!!!!!!!
Speaking of jewelry, have you seen my new website? www.andrealevinedesigns.com. I am so proud that it is so much better than in the past, and truly reflects the lines well. What do you think? I would love to read your comments.
Please feel free to add ideas or suggestions, and upload photos of your purchases from my collections! I would love to include these in my blog. Photos of your pets are always welcomed, too!
Best Wishes and Wags,
Today has been a sleepy kind of day here in Wilmington. Cold and rainy. I went outside and took some photos of my home with all the trees in bloom, and wish it could be like this all year round. Those of you who follow me on Facebook know how snowy it gets here in the winter. I certainly prefer flowers to snow!
Ok, so I have designed a fundraiser for the DE Humane Society. I should have a photo of it soon to post. I think it will be great for anyone who loves animals, and affordable because it is stainless steel! It will be a tag for both pets and people, and I am donating a number to DHA to sell, and I will also offer them on my website, with a portion of the proceeds going to DHA. I cannot wait till they come out of production.
Here are some of the shots I took outside today. Hope you like them!!!
